Here I am, all set up for the book fair at Mysteryscape. Cheri, at the desk, is one of the owners. She will ring up the books I sell.
Ah, a customer. She likes cats and cozy mysteries, and she likes CATastrophic Connections!
A lull. Everyone found some books, had them signed, and proceeded to checkout. Another bunch of folks will head in here to browse in a bit. (Notice the cat poster on the right. That's my table. A lady is still looking at my book and asking about the plot.)
Joyce Ann Brown loves to travel. Some of her settings, such as the Virgin Islands, a small town in Arkansas, and Peru are based on places she has been.
Beth Stockwell, the landlady sleuth in CATastrophic Connections and Furtive Investigation, loves to speed-walk. Read the author's blog about hiking trails in Kansas City, including the Trolley Track Trail where Beth walks.
